Photos of the ’38s’

August 31, 2006

New 38 Photographer Billy Poyner stopped by to take some pictures of the new Engine 38 in service at station 2.  The new truck has been in service for a little over 2 weeks and has been working great.

As with all new trucks, there have been minor difficulties and ‘things we have to get used to’, but all in all it is a tremendous asset to the department.  We always enjoy putting a new piece of equipment in service and increasing the quality of service we can provide.

It was also great that Billy stopped by while both engines were at the same station, still numbered with the ‘38′.  Out with the veteran as the third generation ‘Engine 38′ begins it’s service to the community.
