Kitchen Fire For B Shift

Water OakB shift firefighters responded to a house fire on the evening of January 31st. First arriving Engine 34 from Station One found light smoke initially and extinguished a small fire in the kitchen area. Second arriving Engine 38 from Station 2 arrived quickly and began to assist Engine 34. What initially appeared as a contained kitchen fire did extend some into the attic above the kitchen.

Automatic Aid companies were continued and assisted at the scene. Cedar Park Engine 2, Sam Bass Engine 2, Austin Engine 38, as well as units from Williamson County EMS and Sheriff’s Office also assisted. The fire was under control in just a few minutes and all of the fire was contained to that original area.
