As with many U.S. holidays, fire incidence increases on Thanksgiving Day. This increase is troubling as it applies mostly to cooking fires in the family home.
Haz-Mat Spill For ‘A’ Shift

Shortly after shift change, A shift firefighters from station 1 were called to assist a Sam Bass engine on the scene of a collision on Texas 45. The Sam Bass engine was requesting the Williamson County Haz-Mat Team for assistance with a small chemical spill secondary to a minor collision between a passenger car and a truck carrying a trailer.
The spilled chemicals, sodium bisulfate and sodium hypochlorite, are used to clean swimming pools. They can irritate the eyes and lungs if inhaled directly, but otherwise aren’t dangerous. Read more
