Fitness Challenge Weigh In #1

After one week of nutrition conscious decisions and increased exercise, the results are in for the first week of training. Two firefighters lost a total of 8 pounds, two firefighters gained a total 6 pounds (probably muscle, we’re sure), and 2 firefighters were off either for the shift or during the weigh in time.

On the last B shift, last Saturday, morning boot camp was forgone because of live fire training. Although there was no boot camp, we did spend several hours each standing inside the burn building helping with the Williamson County Fire Chief’s Association Burn Day. Boot camp returned this morning with 4 sets of pure joy and cardiovascular suffering followed up with the Lunge with bundle, sit up, push up routine known as ‘Hell’.
