Pin-in Collision

‘A’ Shift firefighters from both stations were awakened at approximately 0450 AM on September 9th for a collision at Anderson Mill and FM 620. Dispatch advised that a major collision was reported and that occupants were trapped inside the vehicle. Both engines and the rescue truck responded. First arriving Engine 38 reported a high speed collision between an SUV and a traffic light standard. The driver (the sole occupant) was unconscious and pinned in the vehicle.
Car Fire

‘A’ Shift firefighters from Station 1 responded to a car fire at McNeil High School on the 24th, at approximately 2:00 P.M. Quint 39 arrived to find a small passenger car with a fire in the engine compartment and under the dashboard. The fire was quickly contained using tank water.  The temperature outside at the time of the fire was 107 degrees.Â
