Early Morning House Fire
October 28, 2007
Firefighters from Jollyville and surrounding communities were met with a difficult and stubborn fire in the early morning hours of Saturday, the 27th of October. Jollyville compensated staff and volunteer staff responded along with firefighters from Cedar Park, Austin, and Sam Bass. The family was awakened by working smoke detectors and were able to flee the house safely. Firefighters remained on scene for several hours.
Vehicle Fire For ‘B’ Shift

‘B’ Shift firefighters responded to a vehicle fire in the parking lot of the Westwood Apartments. Reports to 911 were of a vehicle next to a building completely engulfed. Luckily, upon arrival, the vehicle was found to be parked next to an exterior fence, with a working fire in the engine compartment. Another ‘B’ Shift Apartment Fire

Firefighters from ‘B’ Shift as well as firefighters from the volunteer ranks quickly extinguised a fire that started in the ground floor maintenance area of a three story apatment building. The fire occuurred at the International Residence complex Copper Creek near Pond Woods. Although the fire was under control in under 15 minutes, crews remained on scene for another couple of hours checking for extension and helping to clean up. Read more
The rain continues and so do the collisions.

This unlucky driver was the victim of Wednesday evenings down pour of rain. The driver said she hydroplaned as she drove eastbound on Toll 45. When other drivers on Toll 45 stopped they found this car on it’s side and rolled the car onto the barrier so the driver could escape. The driver refused to be transported by EMS.
