Vehicle / House Collision

September 21, 2006

‘A’ shift firefighters from station 1 responded to a “car vs. car vs. house” just before midnight on September 20th.  Engine 34 arrived on scene to find a Camero that had collided with an Oldsmobile that was parked in the driveway of a residential structure.  The impact of the collision forced the Olds into the house, knocking away masonry and causing damage to the structure.

Pin-in Collision

Anderson Mill / 620‘A’ Shift firefighters from both stations were awakened at approximately 0450 AM on September 9th for a collision at Anderson Mill and FM 620.  Dispatch advised that a major collision was reported and that occupants were trapped inside the vehicle.  Both engines and the rescue truck responded.  First arriving Engine 38 reported a high speed collision between an SUV and a traffic light standard.  The driver (the sole occupant) was unconscious and pinned in the vehicle.

Deputy Rammed During Pursuit

Collision with Deputy ’C’ Shift firefighters from station 2 responded to a collision involving a Williamson County Sheriff’s patrol deputy at El Salido Parkway and Wonder Lane in Anderson Mill.

The deputy was out on a traffic stop on El Salido when a vehicle being pursued by another Williamson County deputy ran into the deputy’s unit and the vehicle he had pulled over.

The suspect was transported by EMS to Round Rock Medical Center and the deputy was transported by other members of the Sheriff’s Department.  Both sustained minor injuries.

Car Fire

‘A’ Shift firefighters from Station 1 responded to a car fire at McNeil High School on the 24th, at approximately 2:00 P.M.  Quint 39 arrived to find a small passenger car with a fire in the engine compartment and under the dashboard.  The fire was quickly contained using tank water.  The temperature outside at the time of the fire was 107 degrees.Â
