The Williamson County Emergency Services District #1 has adopted a set of fire prevention and building codes effective September 13, 2005.
As allowed by Chapter 775.036 of the Texas Health and Safety Code, amended by the 76th Legislative session 1999, effective September 1, 1999. Williamson County Emergency Services District #1 has adopted the 2015 Edition of the International Fire Code. The 2015 International Fire Code will be enforced in all commercial and multi-family structures within the Williamson County Emergency Services District #1. The Jollyville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. has been granted full authority to enforce said codes within Williamson County Emergency Services District #1.
